Welcome back to another edition of Trip Report Tuesday! Today will include the conclusion to our time in the Disney Parks (this trip) and will see us through to Atlanta as we prepped to visit the Georgia Aquarium along our road trip home. Ready to hear about our final morning at WDW? Ok, let's get to the magic!
Day 15 - Friday, September 14, 2018
Those golden Mickeys make me smile!
Family photo time! We planned to get a few pretty pumpkin pics on this final morning to use for Halloween cards we'd send out to family and close friends.
We strolled through the castle and over to visit Pooh and his pals from Hundred Acre Wood.
You're never too old to play while waiting in this interactive queue.
"Little One" wasn't feeling the best on this particular morning, so I surprised her with this sweet snuggly Tigger to brighten her day. Her smile shows how happy she was to receive it.
Onto a family favorite, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!
Then we popped into Mickey's Star Traders in Tomorrowland as "Princess" wanted to pick up a new phone case there. I thought these tees were too cute to pass up snapping a photo of too.
Sweet Star Trader Cuteness!
When you ride the PeopleMover you get a glimpse down into this shop. Have you ever looked up at the ride as it passes?
I spy some blue Peoplemover vehicles! :)
I thought this photo was too funny! Jason just happened to be rubbing his eyes, but I showed it to him saying he must've been thinking about all the money we'd spent this trip after paying for that final WDW souvenir for "Princess". Ha!
From shopping in Star Traders straight to Buzz Lightyear's Space Rangers Spin...
Watch out Zurg! This girl means business! Ha!
Next up, one of our Tomorrowland favorites, PeopleMover!
Lastly we made our way over to Adventureland.
I got a souvenir bucket of Disney popcorn to take on the road.
See you real soon, WDW! And that we did. Jason and I returned two months later in November 2018 in celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary. Stayed tuned for those trip reports in the new year!
On the road again! That afternoon we drove from WDW to Atlanta and spent the night at a Drury Inn there.
We enjoyed some drive thru deliciousness from Chick-Fil-A and called it a day!
Thanks so much for visiting today! I hope you'll return next Tuesday to hear about our visit to the Georgia Aquarium and the completion of this vacation!
