Happy Friday, friends! I hope you had a great week! Ours flew by! I'll be keeping today's post much like the week it's following, short and sweet! Let's get right to those five loves...
One // Celebrating my Mom's Special Day
Birthday cupcakes // Mom with her gift from us, a photo book of magical memories from our Disney World vacation!
Monday was my sweet mom's special day! The girls and I headed to her home for lunch and enjoyed celebrating her, with extra sprinkles of course! Happy birthday week, Mom! Love ya to pieces!
Two // Family Snow Day!
There was a blizzard in the forecast this week for our area. For the first time in over a decade and a half my husband's work closed for the day due to weather! It didn't end up nearly as bad as forecasted, but the family snow day sure was a treat!
Three // Team Platt
This may sound funny, but even something like shoveling snow is a good time when done alongside my hubby! I'm so thankful to have such a fantastic partner in every aspect of life. Plus the snow scooping gave me an excuse to have an extra . . .
Four // Cinnamon Bun Oreo
Have you tried these? For some reason they taste like comfort in cookie form to me! They're oh so yummy!
Five // Cheddar the Goldfish
Little One asked for a new pet. Her request was a goldfish. Isn't childhood grand? The simplest of things can bring such joy!

ReplyDeleteWe are having an unexpected family snow day today! My husband isn't technically off, but working from home. I will be out in a little bit shoveling snow! I have not yet tried the cinnamon bun oreos. I have decided to really get more serious about eating healthier, so I may have to pass on these! Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteThat Oprah meme is hilarious! LOL!! I wish we had snow days here! The temperature here is slowly creeping up - supposed to be in the high 70s/low 80s. :( And according to my phone, it's supposed to be 90 in Anaheim on Tuesday! Argh! I'm not ready for that yet!

The Oprah meme had Ave reading it out loud, possibly with a bit of drama! LOVE IT! Cheddar, the fish with a mustache--LOVE it! <3 I'm ready for SUN-days instead of SNOW-days, but nothing beats family time no matter what kind of day it is!
