Today I'm delighted to share a little Disney magic from an often overlooked and under appreciated attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney: One Man's Dream. It's chock-full of artifacts from Walt Disney's life, historical Disney treasures, fantastic facts, and at the end of the gallery, a 15-minute movie that tells the story of the man and his mouse that began it all!
If you haven't explored this attraction, I hope this post will inspire you to do so during your next trip to "the World". If you have, perhaps you passed a few of the items I'm sharing today without taking the time to give them a closer look. In any case, I hope you enjoy this stroll through Disney history!
I caught so much glare in these snapshots that the swirl pattern of the carpet is reflected in every photo, yet I thought this trunk was too cool not to include.
The Legacy Continues...

ReplyDeleteOne of my absolute favorite Disney park things is looking at photos of the parks being built and photos from when they first opened. I don't know what it is (maybe my History major?? lol) but I just love looking at what Disneyland and Walt Disney World came from and the stories behind it all!
ReplyDeleteYour posts make me want to go so badly! I can't wait to take our future kids there one day! Hope you are having a great week pretty lady!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love living through your vacations!
ReplyDeletehis office looks exactly like the one in the movie saving mr banks, how cool!
ReplyDeleteoh man, this one had me tearing up. I looove Disney history. I think I've been through this but not for many years...I don't remember any of it actually. I have a thing for steam trunks, I have an old one given to my papa for an Italian man he did carpentry work for. I love it to pieces. I'd adore a collection. Maybe they'd give me Walt's?? haha, not likely!
ReplyDeleteThis is way cool! I love those old stuffed animals. I'm thinking I might plan a trip to San Francisco this year to go to the Disney family's museum there. Wish I could take you along!
