On this day in 1983, The Walt Disney Company opened its first international theme park, Tokyo Disneyland! What better way to celebrate than to take a virtual vacation there today? Ready to ride a few unique attractions, and check out the Japanese twist on others? We'll take in some magical shows, dine in Disney style, then wrap it all up with a great view of their spectacular nighttime parade! I can hardly wait! Let's get this {virtual} vacation started!!

Disney dining is an attraction in itself in my book! I think we should visit Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall for a bite to eat, and a visual treat!

Nighttime is spectacular here!
The most magical way to wrap up any day at a Disney park is surely a nighttime spectacular, Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights is no exception! (Be sure to catch Genie at 8:50 into the video! AMAZING!)

It looks so neat there! I basically love anything Disney!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, this looks so cool!! I've always wanted to go to Tokyo Disneyland!! I went to Disneyland Paris when I studied abroad there and LOVED it!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun! I didn't know there was a Disneyland in Tokyo! I might have gone when I was in Tokyo if I'd done my research :) I can't wait to have kids and bring them to Disney. My dad worked at Disneyworld in Orlando when I was born so I apparently frequented it as a baby. Thanks for sharing, Brenda!!
ReplyDeleteI've always thought it was weird having copies of Disney in other countries. I can't really put my finger on why, but maybe that it is a copy...and should be something different. Although critter country made me laugh. I've never heard of DisneySea though!
ReplyDeleteThat Queen of Hearts restaurant looks awesome. Let's meet up there for dinner, m'kay? ;)
ReplyDeleteWow that would be a fun place to go visit!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great and thorough post! I loved reading and the idea of a virtual vacation is fabulous. It's always so much fun when I remember to nip in here to check out your Disney adventures!
