Flights of Wonder Pre-Show
Little One became part of the pre-show when she was asked to toss a grape into the air to demonstrate this beautiful bird's skills ...& feed him a lit'l morning snack! ;)

Show Time!
Flights of Wonder is definitely worth seeing!  It's funny, interesting, and afterward they offer the opportunity to see some of these fine feathered friends up close!

Can you tell my girls enjoy this ride?

Lunch at Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe
Little One and her pterodactyl puppet enjoying chicken tenders!  The rest of us had Beef Lo Mein. For dessert I went with triple chocolate mousse, while Jason & our girlies cooled off with frozen lemonade.

Animal Kingdom PhotoPass Time!

Wild Dress Up Fun + Trivia Time!

Disney Channel Trivia // Name the show this song is from:

What's that? A hat?
Crazy, funky, junky hat
Overslept, hair unsightly
Trying to look like Keira Knightley
We've been there, we've done that
We see right through your funky hat!

{We quote/sing this way too often at our house - ha!}

Dinner at Be Our Guest

Before dinner, let's take a peek around Beast's castle!

The Breathtaking Ballroom

The Lovely Library

We dared to dine in the West Wing!  This was my favorite room in the restaurant castle! AMAZING!

Dinner is Served

Jason and Princess ordered Sauteed Shrimp and Scallops served in Puff Pastry with a Creamy Lobster Sauce.  I had the Grilled Strip Steak with Garlic-Herb Butter and Pommes Frites.  Little One chose Grilled Chicken Breast and Macaroni topped with Mozzarella and a side of Seasonal Vegetables. (These noodles normally come covered in marinara sauce, but she opted to go sauceless.)  I think I made the best choice at the table! The steak and pommes frites were delicious!

DESSERT
"Try the Grey Stuff, it's delicious!  Don't believe me?  Ask the dishes!"

The only problem with dining here was choosing which fabulous dessert to order!  Before we could even order a thing, our server brought over Grey Stuff with a lit candle and Mickey sprinkles in celebration of Jason and I celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary!  So special!  When the time came to select dessert, Jason went with a Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake.  I had the Triple Chocolate Cupcake {Chocolate Sponge Cake, Chocolate Mousse Filling, and Chocolate Ganache}.  Both our girls enjoyed "The Grey Stuff"!  It was all fantastic!  I don't think you could go wrong with these desserts!

Meeting our Host, Beast!

Disney's Electrical Parade
We viewed Disney's Electrical Parade from Frontierland.  There's nothing quite like watching brilliantly lit floats and smiling characters pass on a beautiful evening at Walt Disney World!

We rode & laughed until our cheeks hurt!

A Sweet End to the Evening at Aloha Isle
Mmm! What a sweet day!

Thanks so much for visiting today!  Here's a sneak peek at what's to come next Trip Report Tuesday!

  6. First of all, we need to make it a goal that some time in the future, we meet up at Disney because it would just be so much fun to hang together there!
The Yak & Yeti! I think that's the place that had these bomb egg roll things. They were soooo yummy! Still dreaming of those 5 1/2 years later!
I've been waiting to see some pics from the new Fantasyland - is that where the Be Our Guest dinner was? That looks really awesome!
The Electrical Parade! How I miss it here in California! Did I ever tell you that when they retired it from Disneyland (the first time), they sold some of the bulbs for charity and I bought one? I still have it somewhere...
And can you believe I STILL haven't tried a Dole Whip? I think I'm going to DL on Friday, so maybe I'll make that my goal for this trip. :)

  7. We also love the Electrical parade. With the exception of 09, our spot to see the parade was also in Frontierland.
