One of my favorite days of the week is here, Trip Report Tuesday! Today I'll take you along to sample snacks at the Food & Wine Festival, share a bite {okay, actually a snapshot} of the meal that I rated "favorite entree" {of this trip}, then we'll wrap it all up with a nighttime spectacular!
Day 11 - Sunday, September 29, 2013
Good morning, EPCOT!
Creating"cars" and racing into a magical day!
The Imagination Pavilion
Jumping Fountain Fun!
Getting our grub on, Disney style!
Our first sensational snacks from Food & Wine Festival 2013: Chicken Potstickers, Black Pepper Shrimp with Sichuan Noodles, Mongolian Beef in a Steamed Bun - China Booth
Mommy/Little One International Date
Fun in the China Pavilion
After getting our Food & Wine Festival Marketplace Discovery Passports stamped for the first time, we split up for a few hours for one on one lunch dates with the kiddos. Little One and I headed to one of our favorite spots in the World Showcase, United Kingdom!
Alice asked, "Where are you going today?" Little One replied, "I don't know." In her charming British accent she exclaimed, "Oh, dear! It does sound like you are lost. I do hope you find yourself!"
Lunch at Yorkshire County Fish Shop
Fish and Chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop is a MUST! Little One and I can never get enough of this place! We enjoyed a lovely lunch date, chatting, and eating sugar cookies the size of our heads!
Meeting Duffy the Disney Bear
Isn't her joyful expression priceless?!
Jason's Lunch: Teriyaki Combo {Teriyaki Beef, Chicken, & Salmon} from Katsura Grill, Japan Pavilion
Princess' Lunch: Hot Dog and French Fries from Liberty Inn, America Pavilion *They actually don't have a plain hot dog on the menu, but that's what she wanted so she ordered a Chili-Cheese Hot Dog with nothing on it. Can you imagine? ;)
Hollywood Studios
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
0 - 60 mph in 2.8 seconds? Yes, please!
Check out Little One braving the first seat! She claims she always closes her eyes in the ride photo because the light that flashes during the photo hurts her eyes. ;)
MANIA! Toy Story Midway Mania, that is!
Sunset Boulevard PhotoPass Pics
Take #1:
Yes, this looks like the perfect place to cross the street! ;)
Much better :)
Hollywood Boulevard PhotoPass Pics
Love PhotoPass Magic Shots!
Dinner at Mama Melrose's, Hollywood Studios
"Daddy, can you pick me up so I can take a close up picture of Luke Skywalker?" asked the girl after her daddy's own heart.
I ordered the Charred Strip Steak with Five-Cheese Baked Macaroni {Aged Balsamic-Shallot Butter, and Chianti Wine Reduction} - AMAZING! I'd highly recommend it! Jason had the Chicken Campanelle {Wood-grilled Chicken and Campanelle Pasta tossed in a Four-Cheese Sauce with Broccoflower, Sun-dried Tomatoes, fresh Spinach, and Sweet Onions}. He wasn't too impressed by it and says he'll get the Oven-baked Chicken alla Parmigiana next visit, as recommended by the cast member that served us. Princess ordered Spaghetti with her choice of Chicken and choice of sauce, Four-Cheese Sauce. Little One had a lit'l Cheese Pizza. The dessert shown is my Chocolate Cannoli Cake. Mmm. It was a delicious meal!
Cheers for Fanciful Ears!
The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow
We love Pirates of the Caribbean and we loved this new attraction! Adding to the fun of checking it out for the first time, Little One was chosen to be part of the show as the "Pirate Princess" who possessed the skeleton key!
"Send those bones to Davy Jones!"
Fantasmic!
Fantasmic! is my favorite Disney nighttime spectacular! We always see it at least once each trip!
Mulch, Sweat n' Shears
Mulch, Sweat n' Shears - Rake & Roll at it's best! The singer performed directly into Little One's camcorder for a bit that night! It was hilarious! LOVE the many magical moments packed into each Disney day! :)
Hollywood Studios in Lights
Hollywood Studios is stunning lit up in night lights

ReplyDeleteWhat fun you have I so wish to go again and get some more memories! Love your photos!
ReplyDeleteI loooove living vicariously through you :) We had soooo much fun at the Food and Wine festival! Our favorites were Italy and France for Creme Brulee! Also, how did you like Fantasmic? I remember they renovated it or something last year, and I haven't seen it since then, so did anything seem different?
ReplyDeleteWay to go....a little girl that loves a chore! I am your newest follower.

Apparently I'm behind on my Trip Report reading....
ReplyDeleteSo much packed into 1 day! All that food looks yummo!
We love the Fish and Chips as well. Somehow I didn't try the cookies. Shame on me. The pictures of all of yall are beautiful. My favorite is the one with Jason and your girls so little one can take the picture of Luke Skywalker. The food at Mama Melrose looks wonderful. I will try that if we get back to Hollywood Studios.
ReplyDeleteI also love the hot dogs as well as the cheeseburgers at the American Pavillion at Epcot.
