35 by 35! #9


Today's 35 by 35 post is going to be short and sweet. :)  It's been a full and absolutely wonderful day here!  I  was too busy enjoying the company of precious family and snuggling my baby niece during her afternoon nap (priceless!) to prepare my regular Thursday post with a tip and food find, but I'm too excited not to quickly share my progress and thank all of my sweet friends in the blogosphere for your support and encouragement throughout this journey towards fabulous fitness!

Progress:  
This morning I just about did a backflip off the scale!  I've dropped 4 pounds since last Thursday!!  HOORAY! That even included a road trip and weekend getaway with my parents, eating out and all!  So excited to (finally) be making smart choices ...and getting this exercise thing down too!

Hope you're all doing well, and will visit me again next Thursday as I plan to share a simple and delicious post-workout snack and possibly a printable too! ;)

  1. Congratulations, Brenda! That is awesome! I am so proud of you and your efforts. How great that they are paying off! I have been feeling a bit discouraged lately as I am still exercising and watching what I 'm eating, but not noticing the scale moving. I have even changed things up with exercise. I have started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I was scared to death, but level 1 hasn't been too bad. It's been hard and I've sweat a lot, but it's not excruciating. I've even lost an inch off my waist in a week. I think I need to tighten up on my eating a bit and continue with the Shred for some more results. Hope your weekend will be wonderful! Keep up the good work!
